Some tips about the Energy Costs Calculator

• Unfortunately it is currently only available in German.
• Not included is the average life-time of the appliances. In general, heat pumps have a longer life-time than appliances for oil and gas heating systems.
• The investment costs, of course, depend on local circumstances. You will see some given numbers when you start the calculator. These figures are based on estimates from the Energy Institute of Vorarlberg (Austria), and tend to be rather low. For example, not included in the investment costs for a gas heating system is the installation of an eventually needed access to the gas distribution system. In contrast to that, geothermal energy is available everywhere at any time.
• If you have one, please type in the investment costs from a quotation you received from your installer.

• The running costs for an AMASOND geothermal heating system are, due to the optimized efficiency, lower than for conventional geothermal heating systems. Additionally, also the investment costs are lower - up to 50 %, depending on the chosen installation method.
