New in comparison to traditional solutions are the modular design, the use of corrugated pipes instead of plain pipes, the application of coaxial heat exchangers and the connection of the pipes with a plug-in technique instead of welding.
The AMASOND heat exchanger system features low investment and operating costs for the heating system, use of residual heat in connection with a solar plant, cooling in summer and the highest possible energy yield.

Modular plug-in system

An incomparable advantage of the AMASOND system is the plug-in connection, which reduces the needed effort for the installation dramatically and therefore saves costs. It is a patented solution, developed by the AMASOND sister company HENN. The connector is doubly sealed. Both the double lip seal and the c-seal ring result in a leakproof and secure system.

Corrugated pipe technology
The outer pipe is corrugated. The efficiency increase of 10% is caused by a larger surface and the turbulent brine flow inside.
Coaxial heat exchanger (CHE)
The heart of the AMASOND innovation is a coaxial system for the vertical heat exchanger. Its principle is: inner and outer pipe. In the inner pipe the brine is carried downwards and then - in a depth of maximal 40 meters - led into the outer pipe. While flowing upwards the brine takes along the temperature of the ground. The CHE reduces the needed drill diameter and offers additionally cost-efficient alternatives to the conventional installation methods. Because of differing materials of inner pipe (PP) and outer pipe (PE) the warm brine and the cold brine are better separated and the efficiency is boosted.
Connection in series
With the AMASOND system heat exchangers can be connected in series. A hydraulically balanced system is the result. Additionally, material requisition and time expenditure for the installation can be reduced substantially.
Moderate installation depth
AMASOND limits the installation depth of CHEs intentionally to 40 meters. This makes verious alternative installation methods possible and protects subjacent water resources. This is a big advantage, as authorities often restrict the construction depth in order to protect the environment. Therefore disturbing subterranean water resources as well as connecting so called aquifers is avoided.
